Dramatic Solutions uses a participatory and experiential methodology, as we believe that people learn more when they are interacting and discovering things for themselves. The emphasis is on learning through a creative combination of all the very best elements of training:

Participatory and interactive:
• Participants actively participate in discussions and activities.

Experiential:
• Participants have the opportunity to practice and develop skills during sessions
• Participants learn through doing. Retention is 20% if we only hear, 50% if we see and
  hear, and 70% if we see, hear and do.

Build on participants existing knowledge:
• Consciously use participants' existing knowledge to aid and deepen learning.
   This is particularly important as we are working with adults who need to integrate new
   learning into their existing mental constructs.

Demonstrate practical application of new learning:
• Make explicit how participants can apply new learning, and how this will benefit them.

Peer learning groups:
• Adults learn more effectively in a group of peers than alone or in a diverse group.
• Peer groups are based on a variety of factors, including age, experience and
   personality.

Learning through fun, focused activities
People learn more when they are enjoying themselves. Participants remember the experience and what they learnt in a fun activity, far better than information that is just presented.
